What Changed Me?
The moment that changed my life was the day I decided to embrace the unpredictable journey of entrepreneurship. It’s a choice that carries a heavy load, one that requires balancing creativity with practicality, passion with strategy, and art with commerce. This is a path that is both daunting and exhilarating, filled with moments of doubt, sleepless nights, and the relentless pursuit of a vision that is constantly evolving. Yet, it was in this decision that I found clarity, purpose, and a new level of self-awareness.

In the dead of winter, 2023, I registered ZUMONSTUDIO. The chill in the air was a reminder of the harsh realities that lay ahead, but it also mirrored the invigorating excitement of a fresh start. From the outside, it might seem like just another business registration, but for me, it was the official mark of a transformative chapter in my life. As the sole founder of an agency whose mission is to create, entertain, and serve, I understood the gravity of this responsibility.
There’s an inherent duality in this role—on one side, I am a creative, driven by the passion to innovate and bring ideas to life; on the other, I am a business leader, tasked with ensuring that every decision serves the best interests of our clients and the sustainability of the studio.

Before ZUMONSTUDIO, I was a creative at heart, dabbling in various forms of expression.
The moment I put my name on that business, I unlocked a new world of possibilities.
It wasn’t just about having more resources at my disposal; it was about the profound shift in perspective that came with being a business owner. I began to see connections where I hadn’t before, realizing that networking wasn’t just a tool but a necessity. The creative industry thrives on relationships, and as I navigated this space, I found myself growing not just as an entrepreneur but as an artist, collaborator, and leader.

There’s a common misconception that to start a business, you need to have everything figured out from day one. I’ve learned that this couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, one of the most powerful lessons I’ve gained is that
growth happens in the doing.
Execution trumps perfection. I’ve often reflected on the words of Jordan Belfort: “The only thing standing between you and your goal is the story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.” This quote resonates deeply with me because it highlights the psychological barriers we place in our own paths.
Too often, we let fear, doubt, and the endless pursuit of perfection paralyze us from taking that first step.
To every creative out there, whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur, an artist, or someone with a burning passion yet to be realized, I urge you to start. It doesn’t matter if your resources are limited or if the odds seem insurmountable.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and that step is often the most challenging. But it is also the most rewarding. Starting ZUMONSTUDIO taught me that the act of creating something—be it a business, a piece of art, or even a hobby—gives life a deeper meaning. It’s not about the end result but the process, the growth, and the connections made along the way.

As creatives, we have an innate ability to see the world differently, to envision possibilities where others see limitations. This is our superpower. But it’s only when we channel this creativity into tangible actions that we can truly make an impact. The world needs more visionaries, more creators who are willing to take risks, challenge the status quo, and bring new ideas to life.
Looking back, I realize that the moment I became an entrepreneur wasn’t just a life-changing event for me—it was a defining moment for ZUMONSTUDIO and for every creative who has worked with us. It was a declaration that creativity and business can coexist, that art and commerce can be harmonized to create something truly extraordinary.
The journey is far from over. In fact, it’s just beginning. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the decision to start—no matter how small, how uncertain, or how daunting—is the moment that changes everything.
