ACHÉ
What started as a personal outlet— a space where I could vent
and process my emotions— became something so much bigger.
It turned into a safe space, not just for me but for others who needed to feel less alone.
When I was 24, I lived through the hardest year of my life. My grandmother became ill and passed away, and for the first time, I felt the deep, aching loss of someone I loved. Even though I was surrounded by people, I still felt incredibly alone. I kept thinking, No one understands what I’m going through.
When I turned 25, I decided to start a podcast called Maybe You Can Relate as a way to process my grief—not only from my loss but also from my life experiences.
It was supposed to be for me—
a personal project, a distraction, something to help me heal.
On January 7, 2024, I released my first episode. I wasn’t nervous; I just knew it felt right. I had no expectations, no big plans. But what happened next? I never saw it coming.
The response was overwhelming—in the best way possible. People reached out to share their own stories, telling me how much they related, how my words made them feel seen, and how they felt less alone.
That’s when I realized: this was never just about me.

Who Am I?
Great question. My name is Aché. I’m a 26-year-old Afro-Latina navigating my second year of a quarter-life crisis. I’m a psychology major on the brink of graduation, and my greatest hope is to live out God’s plan for me—to help and heal as many minds as possible.
Balancing full-time school, work, self-care, and podcasting isn’t easy. Some days, it feels impossible. But deep in my heart, I know this is worth it. It’s already worth it now, and I can only imagine what consistency and discipline will bring.

Maybe You Can Relate Is Just the Beginning
This podcast is no longer just a distraction; it has a purpose. I’ve built a space that, with time, will grow into something far greater than just a podcast. Maybe You Can Relate is special because it’s intentional.
Every story shared—whether mine or someone else’s—
is meant to be heard and felt by those who need it most.
That’s why I don’t just share my own experiences—I invite others to host episodes, share their truths, and let their voices be heard. Not everyone will relate to me, and that’s the point. The goal is to reach as many people as possible and create connections where they’re needed most.
I’m still learning. I know this podcast will evolve with time,
practice, and patience.
And the best part? I have Jesus walking with me every step of the way—guiding me, teaching me, and protecting me.

If you’ve ever thought about starting a podcast, my advice is simple:
Start. Share your story. Share your wisdom. Start today.
And who knows?… Maybe you can relate.
